Shuangheng supplied ground mounted system for this 43MW capacity solar project, located in Miyazaki-ken, Japan. The entire PV system is installed in an open ground. Starting with an investigation of the field environment and then by an overall planning, Kinsend chose the safest and most efficient design scheme based on deliberate calculation on mounting structure, which maximizes the efficiency of solar generation.
The design of solar ground mounted structure takes into consideration of factors like local wind load, snow load. Anodizing and galvanization treatment applies to solar mounting rails, columns, ground screws, clamps and other spare parts. The structure conforms to AS/NZS 1170,DIN 1055 standards. Quality inspections were done before shipment.
The design of Solar ground system should pay attention to the following aspects:
(1) Direction of layout
The selection should be made according to the component model, component size, array, inverter capacity, etc., and the comparison of the two layout schemes: horizontal layout, vertical layout.
(2) The distance between arrays
The distance between photovoltaic panel arrays should be calculated according to slope direction, gradient, solar azimuth and other factors. Reasonable arrangement of photovoltaic arrays can save land resources, on the other hand reduces the amount of engineering such as cables and brackets.
(3)Ground conditions
Terrain survey is important, especially in mountainous areas due to the complex terrain and various constraints.
(4)Overall system arrangement
The layout of the general drawing mainly includes assembly array layout, road layout, fence, switch station (booster station) location and other work
(5)Overall design of solar mounting bracket (choice of proper foundation type)
The selection of photovoltaic support affects later installation and construction. Design should consider the different pipe length caused by the uneven terrain, the difficulty or failure of connection between bolts and bolt holes. Final selection of foundation type Is decided by many conditions like soil type, terrain, slop, underground water situation and corrosion in the air of project.
